Size and girth · Hyaluronic acid filler

Penis girth enhancement, carefully planned.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal filler can add shaft girth without surgery, with volume planned around your anatomy, goals, and desired proportion. Dr. Nel reviews what may be realistic, how treatment is planned, what recovery involves, and the total cost before you decide.

Treatment at a glance

What HA filler can change, and what it cannot.

HA filler is placed beneath the penile skin to add shaft circumference. The procedure does not enter the erectile chambers and does not surgically lengthen the penis.

Penile placement is an off-label use of dermal filler. That does not automatically make it inappropriate. Dr. Nel explains the exact product, evidence, alternatives, uncertainties, and complication plan so you can decide with clear expectations.

I plan filler around the person’s starting anatomy, goals, tissue, and comfort with a temporary result. The consultation is where we decide whether filler is appropriate, what volume may be reasonable, and which risks and limitations matter in that individual case.

Treatment day and recovery

What to plan for before you arrive.

Treatment is performed in the Vancouver clinic with local anesthesia and is generally completed in less than an hour. Temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, and an uneven appearance while filler settles can be expected. These details are discussed in depth during consultation.

Current guidance may include a temporary wrap, careful hygiene, avoiding pressure on the area, and other activity restrictions. Sexual activity must be avoided for approximately two weeks after treatment. Follow the instructions provided for your anatomy, treatment volume, healing, and travel plans.

Safety and follow-up

Clear guidance for recovery and concerns.

Swelling, bruising, tenderness, and temporary unevenness can occur while filler settles. Other possible problems include infection, nodules, firmness, asymmetry, migration, altered sensation, or dissatisfaction. Rare vascular complications require urgent treatment.

You receive instructions explaining expected recovery, warning signs, and what to do if a concern arises. Severe or worsening pain, spreading redness, fever, discharge, marked colour change, cool or mottled skin, or rapidly increasing swelling needs prompt medical advice.

Common questions

Questions to bring into consultation.

How is treatment volume decided?

Volume planning is individualized. Consultation considers anatomy, goals, proportion, tissue response, and whether staged or additional treatment may be clinically appropriate.

What happens on treatment day?

Treatment takes place in the Vancouver clinic with local anesthesia and is generally planned as an appointment of less than an hour. Preparation, treatment complexity, and individual aftercare can affect the schedule.

Is filler permanent?

No. Results often last one to two years or longer, with variation between individuals and treatments. Some patients consider maintenance treatments using smaller amounts over time, depending on their goals and clinical plan.

What does recovery involve?

Swelling, bruising, tenderness, and temporary unevenness may occur while the area settles. Avoid pressure as directed. Sexual activity must be avoided for approximately two weeks after treatment. Your instructions explain expected recovery, activity restrictions, and when to contact the clinic.

Can previous filler be revised?

If reversal or revision of filler placed by a previous injector is needed, dissolving may be discussed as one possible option.
